Nigeria! The greatest of all
The giant of african world
Even despite all odds
Will endeavour to stand and never fall

You are te dearest mother have ever seen
You nuture to the best all your sons
Your potter never cease to amend your cracks and sinks
Your radiance makes others envious for no reason

Despite being at the West, you stand as the giant of Africa
Bordering the North Atlantic Ocean at the rear
You sit between Benin and Cameroon with pride
And you radiate with glory like the sun in the sky

The great milk of Niger and Benue flows from your breast to the rests
And white monkeys came to devour your garden from different heights
But thanks to your great knights
Who saved you from the dark to the light

When you stand and choose never to be a lame
Then they try to shift the blame
And say it was all just a game
Then dave you a new name, whic starts your great fame

You were given independence on October 1st, 1960
Which gave you the more popularity
You chose “Abuja” as capital for more clearity
And divided your endownmnts into 36 with alacrity

In no time you started to grow
I can’t cease to wonder the extent of your flow
Despite having over hundred million of children, you still kept on the glow
With perfection you grouped your endownments ethnicly into 3 (Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo)

I see you among all as a rear gem
Despite all troub’s and problem
You stood and stayed firm
Forever will I sing your praise and anthem

Arise, O compatriots, Nigeria’s call obey
To serve our father land with love, strength and faith (everyday)
The labour of our heeroes past
Shall never be in vain, to serve with heart and might

One nation bound in freedom, peace and unity
We pray, O God of creation to direct our noble cause (with pity)
Guide thou our leaders right and help our youth the truth to know
In love and honesty to grow

Living just and true in great lofty heigths attain
To build a nation where peace and justice reign
We pledge to thee to be faithful, loyal and honest
And serve ye with all thy strength

Defend in unity and always uphold
Your honour and forever glory
God bless my country
God bless NIGERIA … !
